A low product price is a good starting point. The better deal is the order that gives you the exact products you want, in the versions and quantities you expect, at a delivered cost you are comfortable paying.
Use this checklist whether you are comparing MIMO MART, Olive Young, YesStyle, StyleKorean or a brand's own store. No retailer needs to be the cheapest on every item to offer good value on your basket.
1. Match the exact product
Copy the full product name, size, pack count and version into your comparison. A single mask, a four-mask box and a promotional set are different offers. Similarly named Korean and US-market products may have different formulas. Match the product label and barcode when available, especially for sunscreen and beauty devices.
2. Compare the price you can actually use
Record the price available to you today. Keep a new-customer coupon separate from a price available to returning shoppers. Check minimum spend, exclusions, membership requirements and whether codes combine. If a promotion requires buying more units than you need, write down that higher cash outlay.
3. Add delivery and required charges
Use this calculation for each store:
Delivered basket cost = item subtotal − discounts you qualify for + shipping + applicable taxes + any duties or fees payable by you.
Use the same destination and currency. If duties or taxes are not shown yet, mark them as unknown instead of assuming zero. For international orders, also check who pays import charges and what happens if the package is returned.
4. Treat gifts as a bonus
A gift can make a purchase more enjoyable, but it is not cash saved unless you would otherwise buy it. Write down the gift separately. Avoid adding unwanted products simply to reach a threshold: compare the smaller basket plus delivery with the larger basket first.
5. Check the details beyond price
- Is the product in stock and available to ship to your address?
- Is the delivery date an estimate, a processing time or a guarantee?
- What are the return conditions for opened and unopened products?
- Are short-dated or closeout products clearly identified?
- Can you contact the retailer if the wrong item arrives?
Make a small comparison sheet
For each item, note the retailer URL, check date, exact version and quantity, item price and promotion conditions. Then compare the complete basket at checkout. Save a screenshot for a time-limited offer; prices and stock change.
