Thank you for shopping at MIMO MART. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By completing a purchase in our store or online at mimomart.com, you agree to the terms below.
All Sales on Beauty & Personal Care Products Are Final
Due to health, hygiene, and safety regulations, all opened or used beauty and personal care products are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund. This applies to all cosmetics, skincare, haircare, fragrance, nail products, tools, and accessories once the product has been opened, used, or the original seal has been broken.
This policy is consistent with industry standards upheld by major beauty retailers and is in compliance with California health and hygiene resale restrictions.
Eligible Returns — Unopened & Defective Items Only
We accept returns under the following limited circumstances only:
- Unopened and unused products returned in their original, factory-sealed packaging within 14 days of the purchase date, with valid proof of purchase.
- Manufacturer-defective products: If a product is defective upon first use (e.g., broken pump, cracked compact, leaking container, incorrect product shipped), you may request a return, exchange, or store credit within 14 days of purchase.
To qualify for a defect return, the product must be at least 90% full/unused, and the defect must be documented. We reserve the right to assess the condition of any returned item before approving a refund or exchange.
Non-Returnable Items (No Exceptions)
The following items are final sale under all circumstances and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded:
- Products in FINAL SALE section
Opened or used cosmetics, skincare, haircare, or fragrance products - Beauty tools that have been used (brushes, sponges, lash applicators, razors, etc.)
- Lip products, mascaras, and eye products (opened) — for hygiene and safety
- Sale, clearance, or promotional items marked as final sale
- Gift cards and store credit
- Samples and promotional items
- Items purchased more than 30 days prior
How to Request a Return
In-Store: Bring the item, original receipt or proof of purchase, and original packaging to MIMO MART at 5900 Dale Street, Buena Park, CA 90621. Our team will assess the item and determine eligibility.
Online Orders: Email us at hello@mimomart.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and a description and photo of the issue. Do not ship items back without prior written authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
Refund Method
- Approved refunds for online orders will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of our receipt and inspection of the returned item.
- Approved in-store returns will be refunded to the original payment method or issued as store credit at our discretion.
- Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a confirmed product defect.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, broken, or incorrect, please contact us at hello@mimomart.com within 72 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
California Consumer Notice
In accordance with California Civil Code Section 1723, this return policy is clearly disclosed at the point of sale and on our website. Customers who purchase without reviewing this policy are still subject to its terms, as it is conspicuously posted. California law does not require retailers to accept returns of goods that cannot be resold due to health or hygiene considerations.
